The natural rhythms and rhymes of poems help kids build their fluency and expression. Poetry is also great for making inferences, connections, and visualizations. Poetry Activities

When it came time to teach poetry in the classroom, I quickly realized there were limited materials. It took a lot of time and energy to create resources for each type of poem.
